St Augustine’s Church, Cambridge

Hemlocks

Phase 1

Phase 1 of Archangel’s work with St Augustine’s Church was to reinvigorate some of the service spaces of this victorian church building. With the help of Loci Interiors the side entrance to the building has been transformed into a gallery, the toilets have been bought up to modern standards and a small kitchen and hall have some neat storage solutions.

Phase 2

Phase 2 of the project saw the church gain a new fully glazed lobby, an extension to the main space which can be separated by a large folding sliding partition and improved kitchen facilities serving into two rooms. With the addition of an inviting entrance and the vastly improved kitchen facilities, the Church hopes to provide a warm welcome and a nice cup of coffee to all visitors.

Phase 3

Phase 3 of the project allowed for the extension of the existing main hall to the side of the church and the creation of a new space that can either supplement the main hall or can be used independently by enclosing the room with a bi folding screen system.
