A 1950s student building (by David Roberts) was fully refurbished. The opportunity was taken, by means of an extension, to rationalise what had originally been designed as two dining spaces, each with a kitchen. The space that was freed up was used to create a large meeting space, divisible into three areas. A total of 11 student rooms were added, making a total of 51, of which 2 have fully accessible facilities.
